Luan Tie, also known as Dirty Iron (乱铁), is a visual artist based in Shanghai. His work clearly follows in the footsteps of great visionaries such as Moebius, Druillet, and Giger, while asserting a profoundly singular voice. His images, traversed by submerged cities, fragmented creatures, and decaying machines, question human fragility, the grip of technology, and the inevitable return of time and nature.
